Oryx Nashville’s Assistant Manager Karlie Grossi

If you’ve been following the big news on Oryx Nashville’s social media, then you know big things just happened to Karlie Grossi. Before getting promoted to assistant manager in Nashville, Karlie was the supervisor of promotions and marketing for the Berklee Performance Center at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts. Karlie has travelled up and down the United States, originally born and raised in Allex, Texas. With coast to coast travel experience, there is a new city calling her name soon for management and expansion.

Q&A with Karlie Grossi

 

What drew you to join the marketing team at Oryx Nashville?

Oryx Nashville really sets itself apart from other companies in the area. The opportunity and growth system from within is exponential. Everyone likes to make their own decisions and that is what we are able to do by completing the management training.

 

Any particular experiences or events that made the management training stand out?

Hands down my favorite part about working at Oryx Nashville is the company culture and the opportunity. People here are my family, a family that just keeps growing-I love to learn and I know I will never stop learning from our managers here at Oryx Nashville. One of the most interesting things at Oryx Nashville is the ability to network and further develop your skills at both national and regional conferences. Attending a conference has created amazing memories for me and my team. To have an opportunity to be inspired and learn how to better develop yourself personally and professionally is truly a gift.

 

You coordinated the entire karaoke holiday fundraiser, how did you get the ball rolling?

My idea for this fundraiser was to incorporate one of our employee’s passions of singing into the work he does with us. And what better way to share a talent than spotlighting it for a good cause through a fundraiser. I was able to get create a win-win-win situation for our employee, a nonprofit charity, and our business. I felt truly accomplished raising funds for Operation Smile, fostering a family friendly work place,  and reaching out to the local community for involvement.
