Growth from Within

At Oryx Nashville, our motto is “hit the ground running”. We don’t expect anyone in our offices to be thrown into a management role from the gates and hit the ground running. IMG_0738We have extensive hands on training for each person in our team at each level that will ensure success from day one. Any management personnel or director role is strictly promoted to from within in each office. We believe in the power of professional and personal relationships in each location, and how a strong office morale can hit any goal. Relationships in organizations are the key to getting work done, understanding a set of structures, and knowing the routines that are needed in order to make each location run smoothly and efficiently.

Oryx Nashville has a pipeline in place that ensures each location is run in a true entrepreneurship, which really sets the management training program apart from other marketing and sales firms. We’ve had a plethora of promotions in the past 6 months alone and have compiled a few videos to highlight our outstanding team and those who are newly appointed to management.

Recently the Oryx Nashville team promoted Justin to management, he went to Wabash College in Indiana. He will be overseeing the campaign in Indianapolis and has skill-sets to dominate in that market, he went to Wabash on a wrestling scholarship and has an instinctual  competitive drive.

Oryx Nashville is committed to expanding nationally, with a total of 5 new locations for the year. For more information on opportunities, positions available, or direct marketing contact us at hr@oryxnashville.com or check out our facebook page!

Account Manager Spotlight

imageVictoria Phung is a pacesetter in the Oryx Nashville office. What once started as an internship quickly developed into a leadership role in the marketing department. We sat down with Victoria and asked her to go over her goals and her perspective of the training program Oryx Nashville provides.

“I started with Oryx Nashville in the summer of 2015 as a marketing intern. I was majoring in computer science and had three software engineering internships before that. Those internship paid well, but I did not like the monotony and stagnancy that comes with sitting at the desk for 12 hours a day. I wanted to gain experience in direct sales because that is where so many successful entrepreneurs started. That is why I accepted the opportunity with Oryx – to get hands on experience in sales. After the summer, I decided to continue my career with Oryx Nashville while continuing as a full time student in the fall. My philosophy is “anything is possible” – that’s why I took on the challenge of balancing full time school and work. I have been an Account Manger at Oryx for 8 months, and am very happy with my decision to take on the challenge. Oryx is where I feel the most at home with my awesome co-workers, and an amazing opportunity to become a successful entrepreneur. My long term goal is to open a non-profit organization, empowering women with stable careers and income.

Lastly, if there is one piece of insight I could pass on to others it would be: ‘If you want to become successful in life – start with sales – that’s university of life.’”
